Willow's Wonderful Works- Welcome to our SRP
Welcome to our Specialist Resource Provision! We are a Speech, Language and Communication base for those who need specialist input. We work in a small group using a variety of strategies and interventions. This includes individual target time, Colourful Semantics, building therapy, visual coding, Smart Moves, sensory circuits, Dough Disco as well as much more. We also use a variety of communication based software to support our pupils, including voice activated software, Widgit and Clicker 8. We incorporate a variety of emotional literacy and functional skills into our day including cooking and road safety. We are a multi-disciplinary team with a Speech and Language Therapist. We love to hear about what our Willow pupils have been up to on the weekends and in the School Holidays and this can support with spontaneous communication, so do send us photographs if you would like to share!

We have a busy Spring Term ahead of us! We will be focusing on our emotional regulation skills as well as our individual targets, Maths, English and Phonics. During Cooking Club we will be learning to make a variety of snacks including muffins, noodles and pancakes.

What do I need at school?

Water bottles – you child will need a water bottle every day

A healthy snack for break times- no nuts- please refer to our Healthy Schools policy for guidance

Reading books and reading logs - to be brought in everyday

A pencil case with list if resources as shared at meet the teacher

Coats - we will be going outside in all weathers so please bring a coat every day

PE Kit – a fully named PE kit should be at school every week. Please remember that all jewellery must be removed for PE lessons.
